Born in Watford in Hertfordshire, Nicolas Morton has been holding solo exhibitions since 1989. He was elected a member of the Royal Society of British Sculptors in 1995.
Nicolas Morerton’s sculpture can be found in private collections worldwide; Australia, Belgium, Great Britain, Hong Kong, Switzerland, New Zealand and United States of America. His public works can be seen in the collections of George Melly, Brian Sewell, Burghley sculpture collection and Longleat House collection to name but a few.
At the end of 2006, to add to his list of awards, Moreton was Awarded The Brian Mercer Residency at Fondazione Sem, Pietrasanta, Italy. This latest work shows him as the true modern master sculptor he is - firing the zest of imagination into stone.
