All the materials for Eric Beridon's work have been sourced in his locality in Vaucluse, France. Both the ochre stone and the rusted metal which has been salvaged from the old disused factories in the area. Both metal and stone are treated sparingly as Beridon likes to interfere as little as possible with what the force of nature has already formed. These found objects are then joined together and reborn, brought to life in another existence. The materials juxtaposed, reinforcing our differences, but also joining us together with the same spirit.
